There is a generous amount of general scholarship dollars, divided among almost all of our students at the beginning of the year.
(Students who have filled the necessary documents below stated below.) Most of our students will benefit from these funds, and they help to defray the amount of loans you will need throughout medical school.
The White Coat Ceremony was initially conceived by Dr. Gold, a faculty member at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, and today many medical schools have such a ceremony.

Our student leaders in the second and fourth year meet with you often to provide support, camaraderie, and advice about your future in medical school and as a physician.The Registrar’s Office will need to matriculate you into our student system in order for you to officially be seen as a student. You will hear from the Registrar’s Office directly once this change occurs.An email will be sent to you with your student ID number along with instructions on how to activate your student email account - typically by late March.Traditionally our school has awarded scholarships at the time of matriculation, in addition to travel awards and other scholarships throughout your four years here.We have made a few scholarship offers in the recent past, and will award more in the weeks to come.
