Three monthly Men’s Club events are held each month, two on Wednesdays and one on Sundays. We conduct monthly tournaments with a prize money payout of over ,000.The Wednesday events are played from the white tees while the Sunday event is from the blue tees. Prize money is included in your full membership, you only pay green fees for tournaments.Also monthly meetings are held on the first Tuesday of every month. In addition, we have out of town tournaments, field multiple teams for SCGA team play, and let members have access to reduced fees at Brookside's two courses.In 2014 the Club introduced Happy Hours which, beginning in October, were held after each first-Tournament (that is, the 2nd Wednesday) at a variety of San Diego's finest and most interesting eateries and "drinkeries"! Brookside Men's Golf Club offers an associate membership that is basically used to maintain a handicap.The monthly tournament is usually held on the first Sunday of each month.New member is welcome to join any time of the year.We have tournaments the second and fourth Weds of the month, periodic AWAY events at (mostly private) clubs, Happy Hours at local bars and restaurants, Weekend tournaments every 3 Sundays (or Saturdays), a Mixed event with the Women's Club and Championship events over the course of the year. Come to the "scoring tent" after the event for a brew and some chat.... 12 monthly home tournaments 2-3 away tournaments and 120 members We provide each member with the lowest cost available for being a member of our club and the Southern California Golf Association.
Teams are computer generated – absolutely no cliques. The Azusa Greens Golf Club is geared for you to have fun and play your best Golf each time you tee it up.
Regular Club members receive discounted green fees and cart fees at all times.
Every member is eligible to play in any of the 70 annual golf events.
Since its establishment in 1950, APMGC members have held fundraisers for South Bay public officials, marshaled at the Northern Trust Open (formally the Nissan Open) and held board or executive officer positions in the PLGA and SCGA.
There are monthly tournaments for the full membership level and all members are SCGA members with a USGA Handicap Index and able to participate in SCGA activities. Members enjoy full membership into the SCGA, an official handicap, the opportunity to participate in monthly Altadena tournaments and other competitions.
Many began golfing through the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles (WLALA) Golf League.
